Our Alternative Provision

A huge drive for us is to reintegrate young people back into mainstream settings or to prepare them for their future.

Using military inspired activities, our curriculum engages young people through practical hands-on learning, we focus on building resilience, social awareness, confidence and the self-esteem for young people to succeed.

Our programme runs in line with term dates and we also provide transport to and from home!

Social Interaction

We understand that social interactions can sometimes feel like a puzzle, whether it's making new friends or navigating group settings. Our goal is to help unravel the mysteries of interactions and help SWAP social anxiety for social ease.

Wellbeing

In a world buzzing with activity it's crucial for today's youth to SWAP their focus to their mental, physical and emotional health. We are here to empower them with mindfulness, stress management, nutrition and exercise strategies.

Application

We highlight how our activities are most effective when their learning is put into practice. Every young person that attends will be encouraged to apply their knowledge and SWAP their approach to school or home behaviour.

Positivity

Positivity is crucial for the well-being and development of young people. Positivity enhances self-confidence and provides effective coping skills. We SWAP the classroom for an environment that positively
reinforces their personal growth.

Professional Instructors

All SWAP staff have the required safeguarding and first aid qualifications to keep all young people safe. Plus we have Designated Safeguarding Leads based on camp and back at the office.
